Projects

Project Solaris

  • Solaris is one of the projects of the aerospace student group ASPiRE. During this project, a rocket was created that participated in the European Rocketry Chalenge in 2025. My task was to design the PCB development for a Flight Computer and Power Distribution Network (PDN), implementing four-layer boards with dedicated power and ground planes to ensure signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility, and thermal reliability. I tried to optimize as much as possible component placement, controlled-impedance routing, and high-current power paths to deliver a compact, robust, and flight-ready avionics hardware platform. .

Development of a suitable computational model for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Breast Cancer

  • Currently developing a computational and mathematical modeling framework for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of breast cancer as part of a Biomedical Engineering student research group at the University of Western Macedonia. The project integrates biological theory, statistical cancer data, and cellular dynamics with machine-learning inputs (e.g., radiation data and physiological parameters) to construct and validate a system of mathematical equations. The work includes nondimensionalization of model parameters, selection of appropriate numerical methods, implementation of the model in code, stability and sensitivity analysis, and graphical visualization of multiple clinical scenarios to support data-driven conclusions.
